Happy New Year and welcome to episode 13 of the Nothing Doubting podcast. I hope your holidays were wonderful. I certainly enjoyed some time off but I am excited to jump back in to the discussion of faith and how each of us can come to know, “Nothing doubting.”
In this episode we recap where we have been so far in the discussion of personal revelation and how the voice of God is more certain when we can recognize multiple aspects of true revelation present.
The central theme of this episode explores 'whose voice' is heard when receiving revelation, diving into the roles of God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost, as well as our Divine Mother within Latter-day Saint theology. We consider the unity of divine beings but also the need to develop a relationship with each of them separately.
We illustrate how Jesus Christ serves as the intermediary who answers prayers directed to the Father. We also touch on the desire to know more about a Heavenly Mother. The episode concludes with encouragement for listeners to seek personal revelation to deepen their understanding of these divine relationships.
